Melvin and Ciera were married at the Old Courthouse in Cleveland, Ohio. One of the things I loved about their wedding was the vows they wrote to say to each other. That's where this Featurette is focused. Their officiant also plays a special part in their ceremony, as you'll discover as you watch. Enjoy! I went to the courthouse planning to see the tax assessor, but was unable to enter because I was carrying a knife (I didn't realize the assessor's office was actually part of the courthouse). Rather than walk all the way back to my car, since I parked some distance away, I stayed outside to take video. Since it happened to coincide with when everyone was getting off work, I was approached by several sheriff's deputies wanting to know what I was doing. Note: I know this video sucks. It's the first law enforcement encounter I've ever taped and I wasn't prepared to be doing it. I forgot to zoom my phone camera back out for several minutes, I didn't hold it steady, and I talked to myself randomly just to have something to do. Sorry, I'll do better next time.

Two deputies were shot and wounded Monday in a Tennessee county courthouse, authorities said, when an inmate pulled a deputy's gun away after a courtroom appearance. Michael Brelo (top right), 31, broke down in tears as was acquitted at a court in Cleveland, Ohio, of two counts of voluntary manslaughter for the deaths of Timothy Russell, 43, (bottom left on the right) and Malissa Williams, 30 (bottom left on the left). Judge John O'Donnell said it was difficult to determine who delivered the fatal blow, adding that Brelo acted responsibly on the night of the incident. He was the lone officer among the 13 who fired their weapons that night who was charged criminally because prosecutors say he continued firing four seconds after the other officers had stopped shooting (bottom right the bullet-riddled Chevy Malibu from the night of the incident). Brelo could have faced 22 years in prison if convicted on both counts. The trial, which began on April 6, took...

The old Seneca County Courthouse in downtown Tiffin was razed this week. B&B Wrecking and Excavating of Cleveland began demolishing the tower in early January drawing a crowd of onlookers almost daily. The 1884 courthouse had been closed since 2004. Courier photographer Randy Roberts took a video camera with him on six separate occasions filming the demolition as it happened. This video is a synopsis of the sights and sounds of the razing.
Investigators said a sex offender stabbed a deputy and they slit his own throat at the Cleveland County Courthouse.
Northeast Ohio Medical Marijuana patients and advocates took to the streets Saturday, May 7, 2011, to bring visibility and awareness to the injustice of the "war" against medical marijuana in some parts of America, like Ohio - and at the US Federal level - shown here in front of the Cleveland Courthouse. This MMJ rally comes less than a week after the world's greatest financial supporter of MMJ legalization - Peter Lewis - offered to fund a campaign to legalized MMJ in Ohio.
http://www.VisionandHeart.com So proud of how this wedding film turned out! Alison and Jesse are two of the sweetest souls anyone could ask to meet, and it was an honor to be a part of their wedding day. It was actually really cold for May, but we were still able to get some great shots around the city of Cleveland!
